Finally graduated college! I know that this post is like 4 months late as I graduated in December, but life has been hectic since that day. Christmas came right around the corner, followed by drama with my future-mother-in-law, New Years, my Birthday, and having my first out of college interview!
Some of these events didn't go so smoothly (mother-in-law and interview) but I am happy none the less. I have felt very unproductive since college ended as far as my art is concerned mostly because a dear friend of mine made me a wire necklace piece that we want to felt but I have not been inspired to do so yet.
Then I looked around my apartment and realized that I have been working, just very slowly and on more experimental sample type projects.
I made my first batch of koolaid dyed variegated yarn, a vase out of felt coils made from that yarn, a painting (if you can call it that) of an orchid plant with fake flowers glued to it, a masquerade mask (ok its more crafty but I think its pretty!), and a little bird house made of felt which is still in progress.
It's hard to do much of anything right now, money is tight and space is limited. I guess I am just trying to up keep my skills so that when I am able to work on projects I can still do it!
So let me know what you think?
